Call of Cthulhu is a horror fiction role-playing game based on H. P. Lovecraft's story "The Call of Cthulhu" and the associated Cthulhu Mythos. The game is often abbreviated as CoC.
The first edition of the game appeared in a large box and included separate standalone booklets with a separate document containing the rules system called Basic Role Playing.
This edition is reported to be the same as the first edition, but had a limited run of 200 copies, signed by Sandy Petersen and with errata.
